SSI Instructor Upgrade

Pleasure Divers SSI instructor upgrade program will help you expand your current instructor credentials. Whether you are looking to beef up your diving resume or focus your teachings on areas that interest you our upgrade programs work for all instructors.

The programs will include academic seminars with our Instructor Trainer and co-teaching courses with our experienced instructors.

 
 

SSI Advanced open water instructor

Our AOWI program will run through training for five specialties of your choice. During this intensive two day course you will go through 5 specialty training seminars with our experienced Instructor Trainer. We will also offer you the opportunity to co-teach with our experienced instructors to help you build your confidence and experience as an instructor.

PREREQUISITES

  • Active Open Water instructor
  • CPR, First Aid, O2 certified within 12 months
  • Dive medical completed within 12 months
  • Own total dive system (all professionals are expected to own their own gear, Pleasure Divers can assist with the purchase of high quality gear with instructor discounts)
  • Minimum age of 18

SSI assistant instructor trainer

Our Assistant Instructor Trainer Seminar is an intensive 2 day course conducted by our experienced Instructor Trainer. Upon successful completion of this seminar you will be able to:

  • Train Assistant Instructors
  • Assist with Instructor Training Courses
  • Conduct Divemaster Crossovers

PREREQUISITES

  • Active Divemaster instructor
  • CPR, First Aid, O2 certified within 12 months
  • Dive medical completed within 12 months
  • Own total dive system (all professionals are expected to own their own gear, Pleasure Divers can assist with the purchase of high quality gear with instructor discounts)
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Issued a minimum of 45 certifications
